The Rogues have reached the island, far from the other group.

From the broken tree, the gryphon recovered from its daze. Landing on its four legs, it did another squark-roar, the two mammals in his sights. Just as it would strike them down, it was kept back by a musical note made out of lasers. "GET AWAY FROM THEM!" Sonia screamed, firing musical notes from her gun.
Meanwhile, near the Babylon's ship a portal opened from darkness ripped the air. "Well, that was a nice trip." Void said dryly, floating out covered in dirt, "I do hope that trip was worth it." "Oh don't you worry," Wendy giggled, holding a techified crystal, "it was all worth it." "I thought we were after Lazaar's book, not his jewelery." "Its an E-Book. The man might have been a great sorcerer, but as time went on, he decided to keep up with the times. That, and pages would have decayed and sunlight would have worn the ink out." "And magic couldn't protect it?" Wendy shrugged, "He must have his reasons. Though for real books, I'm glad my brother did kept that childish fairy tale interest of his." Levitating with her other hand, the witch gaze at a stack of books, "With Lazaar's spells, this shall be perfect to supply my army." "Don't you have enough monster already?" "Chances are I'll be running out of in-canon monsters from any of the continuities." "Uh?" "That, and recent events have made me realized I might have to kick things up a notch." Wendy turned to her wand, seeing the tip flashed, "Now, it seems an emerald is nearby. How delightful."

"...hm?" He perked up a bit, noticing someone was near, and stopped. "..." He looked over his shoulder. (Taking Storm and Tails for a little bit, Jill is going on a short break till some things are settled. So please, take things a bit slow for the threads her characters are in. Thank you!) "Boss? What's wrong?" "...somethin's up. Keep yer guards up!" And the Rogues moved along to search out the area on their boards, leaving the parked airship aside. (To be continued in Carnival Night Zone!)

"Jill!!" The hedgehog, spotting her tumbling down to possible danger, skid down the hill after her.

He found her lying against a tree, thankfully still breathing. But it looked like the impact of hitting said tree knocked her unconscious. Which is fine, because the tree actually stopped her from falling off an entire cliff.

The Gryphon spread its wings, ready for another attack, but it froze. Looking up in the sky, it saw the sun completely vanished, leaving just a night sky filled with stars and a moon, quite large. Now seemly terrified, the gryphon spread its wings and took off. "That was... weird?" Sonia said, putting her gun away. "Wonder what spooked it."

Trying to cradle Jill up, Manic looked at the sky, "Huh...where's Bean and the others?"
"Rrrgh!!" Trying to steer the ship, as it rattled. "Unfortunate. The beast damaged the systems. Crash landing is inedible." Rubbing his chin, "Bumm3r."

"Uh... crash landing?" Just when Fang finally undid all the seat belts, he started to wrap himself up again.
As much as she would love to scold her brother again, that girl's condition was important. "How is she?"

"Nothing to do but for the captains to go down with the ship." And without warning, Bark ripped Nack's seat off its hinges, and tossed it, and the weasel, out the ship.

"DAMMIT BARK!" Fang shouted before vanishing into the trees.
