Azure Lake - Big Chaos Ahead!

Meanwhile, elsewhere on the floating island, there happened to be a magnificent lake that spanned a great distance throughout the woods.

What better place for a rotund cat to sit down and take time out to fish? Watching the serene water, he just remained silent as he watched the lure bobbing in the water.

Sleeping just by the lake's edge was a frog, eyes closed as it remained quiet as well. Truly a serene scene to behold.

FLASH!

Suddenly from a eruption of green energy, a puddle appeared, splashing on the ground.

With a sudden ribbit, the frog perked up before it quickly bounced over to the cat.

"...what's the matter, Froggy?" Glancing at the frog briefly, he then looked towards the puddle, tilting his head lightly at this sight.

A piece of the puddle rippled. It slide next to Froggy and then-
PLURGE!
It leaped onto the frog, entering its mouth.

The frog squirmed about, flailing as the puddle engulfed it.

"Froggy!" With a surprised breath, the cat quickly pulled the fishing rod back, and tried pulling the frog out of the goop.

Though when he'll pull the frog out, he'll find him now having a long, pointy tail, despite being a full grown adult. Almost like he was caught between his metamorphism stages.

Big couldn't help but blink as he held the frog carefully, looking at this tail with a tilted head. "...Froggy, did you eat something weird?"

Oh, if he could just utter the horrors he just witnessed after that unearthly abomination slithered its way down his gullet... but he was but a frog, so that remained an impossibility.

The rest of the puddle assembled into a humanoid beast made out of water with two hulking, bony arms. Its emerald eyes did glance at big just yet, but analyzing its new surroundings.

Blinking lightly, he glanced towards this beast that appeared as he held onto Froggy, tilting his head still. "...did you come from the water?"

@froggy@

Oh, the woes of accompanying the simpler creature... friendly as he was, that naïvety could lead him down a dangerous path. But alas, his status of being but a frog prevented him from speaking up about it.

Chaos attention then turned to Big. Its emerald green eyes narrowed. Raising its right claw, it was ready to swipe down-
Then it stop.

Seeing the creature about to swipe, he moved back just a little warily, still holding Froggy close to him.

@froggy@

...well, he certainly couldn't complain about the safety that was provided from remaining with the cat. But... what exactly made the ancient being before them cease its attack before even going through with it.

Coating around these creatures (or one of these) was a very familiar aura. HIS own. The only other being he knows that shares his aura were the chao. How was this possible?

...oh dear. It seemed as if the puddle that had slipped within his maw was somehow connected to the being. And he was but a frog. What if the god decided it would want that part of him back?

"...are you lost?" Speaking up after a while, Big moved a hand down to take his fishing rod, giving the watery creature a light nod. "We don't know where this is either... but it's peaceful."

The being looked around the area. A tranquil forest by the lake. Although the trees are far taller, the lake somewhat smaller and among other geographic changes, it seemed familiar to the deity. A headache quaked its mind, and he held his head.

Tilting his head again, he glanced back at the lake briefly. "...not a lot of fish biting tonight... but that's fine, too." He gave the watery being another nod. "Do you wanna sit and fish?"

...he didn't just suggest, to the primordial being of water that had moments before meant to attack, to sit down for a moment of fishing. It just couldn't be done...! Naïvety could only go so far!

However the water creature jolted his head to a small isle in the middle of the lake. Turning into a pure liquid, he dove into the lake. A shadow from within the water slithered towards the isle.

He blinked at seeing that. "...wonder where he's going..."

@froggy@

...this seemed curious. Why would the water creature suddenly... that seemed a bit dangerous. He had to find out more! So with a sudden bound, he lunged from Big's grip and landed in the water, swimming after the shadow.

Naturally, this surprised the cat quite a bit. "Froggy! Wait!" And he quickly began to run into the water as well, swimming after the two of them.

Reaching the isle, Chaos reassemble back to his humanoid form. The piece of land was quite small, but it had enough trees with nuts to give food for a small clan of animals.

He shook some water off his body as he got onto shore. The watery creature seemed to have some particular business on this islet...

"Froggy!" As he got to the other side as well, he gently picked up the frog and held him close, before he happened to notice the water being standing before them.

"Chao, chao, chao!"



Then rising out of holes in the isle and lake were small little baby-like creatures similar to Chaos, but were quite playful and docile.
