The worm wailed when hit by the psychic wave, but it pushed on through to keep lunging at them.

"Damn... Burn, then!" She attempted to burn the worm to a crisp. Plenty of heat to use. "What's with this thing?!" She jumped out of the way.  "This island's mosters are weird..." She drove around to evade it. |

He floated away from the worm and lifted a nearby rock up. He threw it out at the worm. |

When the flames hit the Sandcrawler, it splashed off him like water. Though it did got the worm's attention, as it slithered for Blaze.

Suddenly, when they got so deep and the entrance couldn't be seen, every flame went out. Including Blaze's.
