Coming across an edge of a cliff, they would find a pack of red robotic drill cars racing down a road; each pulling Egg Capsules.

BGM: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 HD - Music: Boss Battle Some of the cars were hit, but their defenses made them not as simple to instantly smash. However, one car was knocked onto a tree, but the others, after being attacked, tried to race off faster, kicking up their thrusts to shred across the road. |

As some were smashed and knocked into some tree, the remaining cars released the capsules to remove weight so they can escape. Seems the drill cars do not have anything kind of weapons to attack Sonic. Yes, the drill car does suck in the games.

And so he did, shredding their tires off to completely wreck them for good. Some exploded while some just crashed into trees.
Meanwhile, each of the capsules, Tails pressed, exploded of freed people and animals; all of them gladly appreciated.

Indeed everyone is. The people crowded and cheered for the two heroes, expressing their gratitude. The females....a little too much, if you get my drift.

"Whoa- okay, that's a bit too close- hey Tails, you holding out over there?" Sonic at least had experience in evading overly-affectionate fans (coughSaracough), so he was more concerned with Tails, who didn't (to his knowledge at least). |

Though surprised when Sonic just grabbed him, he certainly seemed relieved to be pulled out of the crowd. |
