Within the dark pit, where the emerald console stood, Shadow sat on the catwalk of it, deep in thought. From his glove, he pulled out a locket. A locket that had a black-n-white picture of a young human girl.  "Maria.....did you really want me to....?" "Awww. So you're into Alice in Wonderland? How cute." an echo spoke in the room. Which Shadow snapped to his feet, looking around. "I locked this room, cat! How did you...?" "In your head, Brood." The entire room fell to darkness. Allowing Shadow to see Honey standing ahead of him. "...telepathy." he guessed. And that just brought out the horrible possibility. In a blink of an eye, Shadow zipped up to her and held her by her neck. "Then that means you know my true goal!!" The cat faded away like smoke. "Relax, emo-boy. I won't tattle." She suddenly appeared behind him. "In fact, I'm eager to help you." Turning around, standing on guard, "And why would you help me accomplish a mission that could...?" "....." Her eyes nearly narrowed, but still kept that cold look, and smile on her lips. "Let's just say; because I have to." "....." "And also, I need you to help me with a favor. And if you don't help me, I can forward your little secret to everyone's head faster than you could kill me." Growling, he knew there was a catch. But alas, she had him. "What do you need?" |

A pity that she just had been heading for the emerald room; with the door locked, her eyes narrowed briefly. ...that's... Her eyes narrowed, as she quickly snapped a device from her person, setting it against the door and adjusting a frequency on her radio; intending to listen in on anyone inside the chamber. |

She glanced back at seeing him vanish like that, shuddering faintly. If he suddenly decided that she was obsolete... that wasn't a pleasant thought. Still, with Eggman not around, she had to take the chance. She entered the emerald room, eyes narrowing as she approached the console's computer. "...alright, Julian... let's see what you hid on her..." And she began to type, intending to look through the files. |

All information contained Project Shadow, but there were two files. The second file was indeed Shadow the Hedgehog, but he was considered Project Shadow 2.0.
