In the virtual simulation in Brevon's ship, the warlord was going over data, designing improvements to his technology, and sending them along to his warship for implementation and construction. For this kind of work, he did not trust anyone but himself.

Then, Syntax appeared in the simulation, speaking with a robotic but feminine voice, "Sir. The data you requested has successfully returned. The spy units have evaded detection, but have been unable to approach the space colony. As well, the troops you sent to recover the Sol Emerald from the volcano have successfully returned with minimal casualties."
@brevon@
"Ah, excellent. I have eyes everywhere on the planet, and everyone else is none the wiser. The colony is a problem, though, I will need a solution to find out what's going on there, but that will come later. And even better, my bargaining chip has arrived," Brevon smirked, as he began to bring up the data now. "Now, let's see what they found out on the field..." There was a pause, as he brought up what happened to Bunnie. It didn't take long to figure out what happened. "A machine that can transform organic beings into machines. He actually made it work, if at least partially. I'm impressed. If we can get our hands on that machine, or at least figure out its inner workings and reverse-engineer them, this would be extremely useful."

"Speaking of which, Sir, there is also data on the purpose of the orbital colony hacked from GUN's databases."
@brevon@
"Is that so..." He examined that next set of data, taken from the ARK's databases. "The ARK, designed by Dr. Gerald Robotnik, eh...? Of course, now, Eggman is re-purposing it. It'll inevitably be a problem, but one I can deal with later."
@syntax@
"Should I make arrangements for sabotage?"
@brevon@
"No, the doctor is confident and complacent. The last thing we need is to make him paranoid, and for his personal attack hedgehog to come after me. I want to stay well out of his way if I can help it until matters have been settled here," Brevon replied. "As for the DNA you've recovered..."
Several screens showed up, showing the DNA profiles of dozens of people, especially anyone considered a potential threat. DNA was not difficult to recover, especially when it came to mammals with a lot of fur. If you could get anything from them that had it, such as a hair, that was usually enough. "Very fascinating. You know, since we still haven't broken Serpentine out yet, from what we're aware, I've been thinking about creating a new second-in-command. Someone who can keep up with all of these individuals. Syntax, I want a review of every possible and viable DNA combination from these individuals. I want the perfect soldier that I can clone without complications, if possible. Perhaps a little cliche, but it works."
@synatx@
"Of course, Sir."
@brevon@
"Well, then... I think I'm done with this for now. Time to get on with the current operation."
He then disengaged the VR system, to find the Sol Emerald he requested in front of him. He could see that the area around his ship had been heavily fortified and turned into a temporary base/encampment, with several shield layers and physical fortifications.
He smirked, as he took it. "Now, we wait for the God of Destruction to arrive."
