Mystic Ruins: Tumbling down below...

"NOW WHAT DO WE DO?!"

Brick and Iron were still currently falling through the air, and even if they could somehow soften the landing with the Gears, it was still gonna hurt.

@iron@ "I DON'T KNOOOOW!!!" Called out the buck, falling at exactly the same speed the bull was. It didn't help that his Gear wasn't a flight type.

"DAMN IT!" He yelped.

And he saw the ground below. "LOOK OUT!" And covered his eyes, bracing for impact.

Course, he forgot about the strange techno-bracelet thing that they found earlier, which was still in his hands.

@iron@ He gasped too, flinching.

The techno bracelet in question started to glow, and suddenly a large blue bubble erupted out of it, engulfing both men. But it didn't harm them, it actually slowed their decent down.

@iron@ "!" He gasped when it did and looked around. "What the?!"

It took him a minute to open his eyes, but even he eventually noticed they were falling too slowly. When he opened his eyes, he noticed what was going on.

"...okay, chalk this up as some of the craziest stuff I've seen in my life," he muttered.

@iron@ When they got close enough to land, Iron landed on his skates first, then proceeded to fall on his behind, taking a sigh. "...that was...crazy..."

And the bracelet's glow slowly went away.

He landed on his feet nice and softly with his Gear tucked under his arm, and he looked at the bracelet. "Okay, this thing is definitely valuable for sure."

@iron@ "Y.yeah, no kidding...it just saved our butts..." He sighed. "...where'd we end up anyway?"

[JC303]

He sighed. "...there's only one option where we could be; the Land of Darkness. There can't be anything else that's below us with land...but where exactly in the Land of Darkness, I wouldn't know. Never been here in my life."

He groaned, rubbing his head. "My Ma's gonna kill me if she finds out I've gone missing..."

@iron@ "Oh no..." He looked surprised. Iron has never been to the Land of Darkness, he's heard stories about it, but... "...this is bad...."

[JC303]

"...really bad..." he muttered in addition. And it sounded like Iron didn't know what to do either. How were they gonna get back?

...and suddenly, he perked. "Wait a minute...you hear something?"

After listening long and hard enough...they could hear what sounded like someone sobbing off in the distance.

@iron@ "...I do." He looked over at the voice. "I guess someone else is lost?"

Well...he didn't know. He's heard stories of monsters, and he partially thought this could've just been a trap to lure unsuspecting victims into their doom...

...eh, he's had worse.

"C'mon, let's go check it out," he said, walking toward where he heard the sound.

@iron@ "Eeeeh....sure..." He heard the same stories, but he followed along, watching their back.

@lumina@ The crying happened to be coming from a certain girl, perched on a rock and just crying her heart out. After having gone through losing her people to some horrible incident she may not even want to remember, she also encountered her friend which she worried so much about...plotting to hurt other people. She didn't know what to do or say. She felt like she didn't have any right after being forced to banish him due to the Goddess's command. Void was probably really angry with her. He didn't even bother to stay and listen to her try and apologize for what she did.

Like she said before...she should've just been taken by that monster as punishment for not being a better friend to him. For letting him get to a point where he felt such hate and anger for everyone and everything around him...

"...um...hey...excuse me?"

@lumina@ She gasped, wiping her eyes, and sprung up with her wings to look at the two that encountered her.

@iron@ He came up, amazed at the winged being. He's been around the Land of the Sky a lot, but he's never seen...whatever she is, but it was quite a sight. "Err, heya...sorry, is this a bad time to ask a question...?"

@lumina@ She hurriedly wiped her eyes. "Oh--oh no, not at all..."

"...you sure?" he muttered. "...if we caught you at a really bad time--"

@lumina@ "Oh no, it's...it's alright," she smiled, but it seemed forced. "...how can I help you?"

@iron@ "...well, this might come off as strange but......where are we right now?" He looked aside a bit worried. "...and are there monsters nearby?"

@lumina@ She shook her head. "Don't worry...I don't sense any monsters nearby right now..." then she looked down. "...and...I'm sorry...I don't really know where we are myself. I'm still fairly new to this place."

Great, that was super helpful, he thought sarcastically, but he never voiced it since it would be too rude. "...hey, I don't wanna pry but...is that why you were crying? Because you were lost?"

@lumina@ Looking away uncomfortably. "...you...could say that, metaphorically..."

"...what's that supposed to mean?"

@lumina@ She sighed, descending down to sit on the rock again. "...I don't want to worry you two...it's not something you need to deal with..."

@iron@ "Oh, well..." He rubbed his head, trying to think. He's had moments where he was lost too, in both senses. When his friend passed, he was in a slump for the longest time. But there was something that cheered him up. "...oh!" He perked up, and looked back at his bag (which he kept with his all this time, crazy I know). "I got just the thing to help..."
