@iron@ "Here." He held two out to Brick and the mystery girl. "I know it's kinda cliche, but this tends to take my mind off bad stuff. I guess I just got a pretty big sweet tooth...eheh..."

@lumina@ She hadn't seen anything like it before, and she took it, looking at it curiously. "...so...you eat it?"

"Well, gotta take the wrapper off first; that's not really the edible part," he chuckled, unwrapping the chocolate. Then he looked at Iron. "Thanks man." And took a bite.

@lumina@ After having seen what Brick did, she unwrapped the candy bar like he did, and took a bite to chew it and see what she thought.

@iron@ "No prob!" He smiled and unwrapped his own, taking a bite. "Lemme know how you like it."

@lumina@ She had a very delayed reaction to the candy bar, but slowly, her eyes widened. It was so sweet and tasty. And admittedly, while she ate it, she realized just how hungry she really was.

"It's...it's w-wonderful," she uttered, with more tears rolling down her face.

"...whoah boy," looks like she was one of the really emotional types.

@iron@ "Heh, glad you like it!" He nodded, smiling. "I take it this is your first time biting into a chocolate bar?"

@lumina@ "Y-Yes and it's...so good," she wiped her tears. "...I'm sorry...your kindness is just so touching..."

"I take it you haven't had a break while being here?" he assumed.

@lumina@ "Not really...no," and she continued to eat the bar.

@iron@ "Ahh, don't worry about it. I think a break is just what we need after getting chased by a stream of sewer sludge." He took a seat near a rock, knowing that might sail over Lumina's head. "I'm Iron by the way."

"And I'm Brick," he added.

@lumina@ "...so...those are your names?" She asked. Then she politely bowed her head. "...my name is Lumina."

"Lumina, huh? That's...quite a name." Well, she was also quite the creature. He'll also admit he's never seen her before.

@iron@ "Yeah..." About the same, really. "So where are you from, Lumina?"

@lumina@ "...well, I'm from kind of a magical realm; one I don't think you two would know about," And she wanted to be careful what she said to strangers.

"...huh, makes sense," he remarked non-nonchalantly. "...so...what brought you here?"

@lumina@ And she looked sad again.

"...er, you don't have to answer that," he quickly said, growing nervous about making her feel bad.

@iron@ "Well, aaah..." A subject change was needed. "Well, we ended up down here after getting flushed down the pipe lines...kind of reminds me of that show about plumbers and an alternate world I saw as a kid..." Shame he can't remember the name.

@lumina@ "...flushed down the pipe lines?" she was a little confused.

"Y'know...when someone goes to the bathroom and they flush? Where that goes?"

@lumina@ She suddenly gasped. "Oh my; how terrible!"

@iron@ "Yeaaaah, so we both got pretty lucky...no, seriously." He pointed at the bracelet around Brick's wrist. "That thing saved us!"

"You wouldn't happen to know what thing is, would you?" He held up the bracelet to show Lumina.

@lumina@ She looked it over. "...not off hand. But I sense a great power from this artifact." She smiled. "Oh, thank goodness it saved you two from getting hurt."

@iron@ "No kidding...though I'm still curious." He thought. "It doesn't look as rare as a Chaos Emerald, but still..."

"Well, I'm sure we'll figure out what it is eventually." And he put it away. "Best thing to do is hang onto it. It helped us before, so I figure it'll help us again sometime later."

@iron@ "Right..." He slowly stood up and looked over. "Well, break time's over."

"Alrighty," he nodded, and looked toward Lumina.

"...listen...em...you don't have to tell us anything you don't want to," he started off, rubbing the back of his head. "...but I don't think either of us wanna just leave some poor girl all alone by herself neither. You wanna come with us?"

@lumina@ She blinked in amazement at the suggestion. "...me...come with you two?"

"I mean, as long as you're okay with it, bud," he said, turning toward Iron for an answer.

@iron@ "I'm ok with it." He smiled. "The more the merrier, we could figure things out easier between three heads."
