Down below in the Land of Darkness, many a ruin from ages past could be found scattered all around, be they cities or monuments or what have you. The ruins that we find ourselves in now, would both evoke memories of a more cheerful time, but also deliver a haunting atmosphere.  At least, that's how the bat figured as she wandered through this place, her arms folded. "...of course it had to be someplace abandoned..." Her eyes scanned the enviroment warily. "...though it'd make sense to hide away in." As she wandered, she let out a brief sigh. ...hopefully I'll figure out more about this whole situation... |

The object being a robot squirrel. It almost continued on, until it noticed Rouge. Turning around, the robot faced the bat. "Sorry about that, hope I didn't startle you."

Well, that doesn't speak suspicious at all, not at all. But Shortfuse rather not push it. At least for now.
Shortfuse rather be jetting off and fight Eggman's forces, but for someone to journey in the Land of Darkness, something must be up.
