She can see an old man who looks like an elder Eggman fiddling with the computer's camera before getting in front of it. "Dateline: August 22, XXXX. I made it into my backup labs safely." And he looked like he was breaking down into tears. "Shadow's capsule was delivered safely near the area....my granddaughter. She insisted on getting Shadow to safety in the capsule, and she...." The old man sobbed, hard. "....excuse me."
And he ended the video.

"Could have sworn that was Butt-nik, if the man didn't look..." He couldn't utter the words. The man looked so sad and depressed. When he mentioned granddaughter and couldn't finish, Shortfuse knew it was something tragic.
