I honestly have no idea what AnT had in mind for the demise of Blaze's kingdom, so I kept things a bit vauge. If you wanna clarify things, just let me know.

Abilities:
Blaze's main specialty is pyrokinesis, able to manipulate fire from any source and heat, even subconsciously. She can even create fire, though it does require taking heat from her surroundings or even her body in order to ignite the oxygen around her. That's not to say it's her only ability, she is extremely agile, and while she can't keep up with Sonic, she isn't far behind him in terms of running speed, making up for it in acrobatics and overall agility, and even is trained in close-quarters-combat, as befitting a warrior princess.
Weakness:
Her fire abilities are greatly diminished in water and in cold conditions. Is very scared of heights.
POW Move:
Eruption: A desperation attack that uses up all the heat around her, she unleashes a surge of fire in an area of effect burst.
Chaos Ability:
She doesn't have a 'chaos' ability, but more of a 'Sol' ability - she can utilize the power of the Sol Emeralds to provide her virtually unlimited 'heat fuel' for her fire abilities (emphasis on fuel, not power, though that does increase a bit).
When she has all seven Sol Emeralds, she can activate her 'Burning Blaze' super form, becoming virtually invulnerable, and her fire powers are exponentially more powerful.
Personality:
Blaze is a stoic, headstrong individual with a good heart, but she can be stubborn and overly tied to her duties, for she was forced into her role as a child, and though she has grown into a strong young woman, she knows little of the world above and its customs, despite her royal behavior and her polite way of speaking. She does care for others, but she fears that attachment will merely bring sorrow, as those close to her may burn like so many others before them.
History:
Blaze's life before the flames of disaster consumed what is now known as the Land of Darkness was much happier than her life is now, for she had a family and a prosperous kingdom. She was trained in self-defense and the ways of royalty, learning the duty she was to inherit.
But then, in a single night, her kingdom was consumed by the very flames it worshiped. Even Blaze herself knew little of the disaster that claimed her kingdom and her parents, causing their subjects to flee for the world above. But her duty was to stay behind, and to contain the flames to the capital, now known as Crisis City. Every so often, monsters would rise from the flames, and she would quell them, time after time after time. But she had no way of knowing whether it was the Sol Emeralds that had caused her beloved kingdom to burn, or something else entirely, something that the kingdom should never have meddled with...
Regardless, with an iron will, she survives, and waits, for the day she can finally put out the flames, and put her restless city to ashes. And yet, inside, she fears that she may never find the answer before her life ends, and without an heir to watch over the city, the monsters would spew out unchecked, and possibly claim the skies as well...
