Name:
Sash Lilac
Nickname:
Dragon Girl
Lilac
Speedster of the East
Age:
16
Gender:
Female
Species:
Mobian/Dragon hybrid (descended from eastern dragons of Avalice)
Affiliation:
Chaotic Good
Description:
Status:
Former thief, heroine
Location:
Avalice
Abilities:
Lilac's main affinity is water - that's not an elemental ability, but rather, she can able to swim and hold her breath much longer than most mammals, rivaling even amphibians, and with great agility. On land, she's no slouch either, while she can't catch up with Sonic by any means (who can?), none in Avalice rival her speed on foot, easily able to run at 400mph, and she is an excellent jumper. Her main combat abilities involve close-quarters attacks with hair-whip strikes and strong kicks, overall trained in martial arts, and she can spin like a top to strike rapidly with her "Dragon Cyclone", and she can launch herself at high speed in any direction even at a standstill like a cannonball with her "Dragon Boost" attack, doubling as both a strong attack and a way to reach high places, though she needs to wait a bit to use it again.
Weakness:
Lilac is light and can't take that much damage. Plus, she can rush headfirst into danger a bit too eagerly sometimes (in some ways like that, it's like she and Sonic were separated from birth). Her ability to suppress chaos and sol energy purely through exposure is also a double-edged sword.
POW Move:
Super Dragon Boost: She can use this on her own, but this takes an incredible amount of energy out of her, meaning she can't use it twice without losing consciousness, but certain rings in Pangu Lagoon have enabled her to perform it easily. This is a greatly empowered version of the dragon boost, with much greater strength and speed.
Chaos Ability:
Interestingly, Lilac's reaction to both chaos energy and sol energy is unusual, possibly due to her bloodline or exposure to the Kingdom Stone. In fact, she can suppress the power of the emeralds just by exposure, to some degree, rendering even super forms vulnerable to attack. Of course, this is a double-edged sword, as her presence may be a burden on her own allies, until she learns to control it, if she can at all...
She may be able to use the power of the Kingdom Stone for some purpose, but she has never used it herself. However, at the least, it would greatly boost her abilities, but probably not enable a super form on its own.
Personality:
More of a hero than a thief, Lilac is a fun-loving gal who is able to keep herself together enough to keep her friend Carol in check, but when someone is in danger, she will leap headfirst to save them without hesitation. She can also be very stubborn when she's trying to get something done. Ultimately, she's a reliable friend, and a enemy you don't want to have if you can help it. And making her genuinely angry is an even worse idea.
History:
The eastern dragons of Avalice are few in number, massive and powerful, and have never been seen in centuries, if not longer. But their descendants still roam the land as living proof of their existence, with her ancestors having mingled with the dragons, who gifted them with draconic blood via magic, transforming them, and the result was a mobian breed of dragon that was once considered by some to be an outright abomination and feared by many for their power, even if they could not hope to rival the ancient dragons that blessed them with such power. Lilac is one of them, and she possesses incredible potential as a result of her bloodline, as she is one of the few relatively pure-blooded mobian 'dragons' left.
The societies of the eastern continent of Avalice, while a very different set of nations compared to the sky cities, are no less technologically adept, and in some ways, more, with ancient knowledge of mystic arts - the leader of Shang Tu is titled 'Magister' for a reason. Where the skies have the Chaos Emeralds and the darkness below has the Sol, the Kingdom Stone is grounded in Avalice, kept in an ancient temple beneath the earth, as if acting as a balance between the two worlds to prevent collapse. Knowledge of whether there is any truth to such speculation, however, has been lost to time, and few are foolhardy to tempt fate by moving the stone from its resting place. It was said that the Kingdom Stone and its temple was created by the dragons, which may explain Lilac's affinity for it.
A descendant of ancient dragons who came to the continent of Avalice long ago, Sash Lilac was once a member of the Red Scarves, an underground legion of thieves and assassins, along with her friend Carol, but they both left together to strike out on their own. Though they would routinely steal from the rich during their annual pilgrimage to see the Kingdom Stone, Lilac was more of a goody-two-shoes than a thief.
Around the time of her first major adventure, tensions between the three kingdoms of Avalice were growing, with a clash of egos between the Magister of Shang Tu, Mayor Zao of Shang Mu, and Prince Dail of Shuigang, whose father was recently murdered. The Magister would summarize the situation best...
A crisis has befallen our land. For centuries, we have depended on the Kingdom Stone, but its power is fading. The Prince of Shuigang, poisoned with madness over the death of his father, has spread machines across the land. Tensions are growing, and I fear war may be inevitable...
Then, she and Carol met a strange person, Torque the Shellduck, who they discovered was actually an alien, a 'Chaser', who was tasked with foiling the machinations of an alien invader, Lord Arktivus Brevon, a ruthless warlord, infamous among the cosmos for countless conquests, genocides, and the death and corruption of countless heroes, who was manipulating the kingdoms to steal the Kingdom Stone, which would make his army unstoppable. He was the one who had murdered the king of Shuigang, and brainwashed Prince Dail to do his bidding.
With the help of Milla the Hound, who had recently befriended the group, the heroes rushed to prevent the Kingdom Stone from being stolen by Brevon. Lilac herself fought the warlord, and despite her inexperience against his power, she managed to prevail and defeat him, and revitalize the Kingdom Stone...
