Green Lake City: Lost Footage

Green Lake City, like its name, is a metropolis right by a lake. Its located near Green Hill Zone, as hinted by its name. In one of its apartment complexes, a ring opened in the hallways.


Walking out first was Sally Acorn, or known through the public as Ricki the Squirrel. "Antoine, you coming?"

Waddling like he needed to use the bathroom, "Here I am, my preenzess." he nervously announced.

[Alien-Child]

Looking at how he's walking, "Didn't want to ask Tails for the washroom, huh?" Sally motioned to an apartment door, and opened it up. "We're back!"

And the door was opened by a bunny girl with rough hair, from her time babysitting. "Yuh owe meh, Sally-Gurl."

[Alien-Child]

Biting her bottom lip from nervousness. "Duly noted. I'm really, really grateful for this." Sally gulped, hoping Tufftee behaved, "So is the little guy already asleeped... or is he still up?"

[AnT]

"After bouncing around? Finally dropped asleep. He bounces more than a hyper puppy."

[Alien-Child]

"Yeah, he can be like that." Sally sighed, smiling as she looked at her sleeping brother on the couch. He's really adorable when he's asleep. "Boy, we had a wild day. Almost got caught by Eggman if I didn't trick him for an interview. Which reminds me, Antoine, mind we check the footage?"

[AnT]

And he was gone.

"....he left the camera again, didn't he?" she scoffed, hearing this song before.

[Alien-Child]

Sally's eye twitched. Good thing Antoine wasn't here, otherwise Sally would be screaming her head off so loud, Tufftee wouldn't be the only kid to rudely wake up from a nap in the apartment.

[AnT]

"Ah told yuh; yuh should've have Nicole record the camera." she smirked, going over to the fridge.

[Alien-Child]

After taking a breather, Sally tried to calm down, "Yes, but he's so insistent on coming along, and if he must, then he gotta do something that isn't running around screaming..."

[AnT]

"No, ah mean, when Antoine does camera work, have Nicole take the footage instead of the tape inside the camera."

[Alien-Child]

"Hmm, I'll have to make a note of that next time." Sally said. Then she sighed, slumping into a chair, "That is, if there's a next time. The boss really wanted me to bring in a good story. Having the reveal the return of Metal Sonic might have been worth something."

[AnT]

"Well this is Mobius; something always turn up." Bringing two soda cans, she tossed one to Sally before sitting down on a couch. She turned on the TV with a remote.


"-and it was this morning when Dr. Eggman's Badniks broke into the Equinox labs, stealing valuable projects. Staff are rather quiet about it, but rest assured, this reporter will find more as it develops."

Scoffing, "Yea. Translation: 'Find news bettah than Ricki could'."

Rather than spurt out her own feelings, Sally covered her mouth by drinking soda. Oh if only she had the footage with her, otherwise she could have bet Garcia to the punch easily.

"WAAAAAAAAAAGH!

Suddenly, there was a loud couple of thuds on the roof of the apartment.

[AnT]

"In other news, a amateur footage was taken of the vigilante known to the public as the Fiery Blur, last night, in the Casinopolis district of Station Square."

A photo shown of a purple blur, suited in fire, smashing through a jeep, drove by crooks that robbed the casino.

"This also marks the third strike of Mogul's property targeted for theft, coordinated by the crimelord, Sidewinder."


"What was that?!" she gasped at the sound on the roof.

Sally cringed at the sound. Looking at the couch, she was thankful her brother was still snooring. Calming down, she looked at Bunnie, "What was that?"

Soon, a large nose peeked through their window.

"Hi guys!" giggled a dragon girl they knew. "I almost made it this time! Didn't mean to hit your roof!"

Sighing with relief that it was just Dulcy, "You ain't hurt, are you?"
