Hidden Palace: Echidnaopolis

"Chaos..." Hiding on a dark ledge in higher levels, someone watched all of this take place. "Just how did the Kingdom Stone and the Ancient Onyx...?"

"!" The figure in the shadows gasped to itself in surprise, it wasn't expecting that...

[Alien-Child]

"A giant puddle monster?" Alucion said, before gagging at the little dino's slobber.


The water monster glared sharply at the echidnas. It looked as if its watery body would boil.


"So you're the beast that was hidden within?" Wendy smirked, placing a seat on the newly formed gem. "Wow, you look quite a monster!"


"Wendy, what's going on here?"


Rubbing a palm on the gem, "'Chaos' here was trapped within a thousand years by the echidna people in this pretty little thing, the Master Emerald. Well, more or less. To keep him sealed, it force the gem to split in two; The Ancient Onyx and that Kingdom Stone the dragon girl is fond of. Course when I help the Onyx call back its other half, that seal broke off."


The water monster, looking annoyed, made some gurgling sounds.


"Ah yes, of course, how foolish of me. Enjoy your freedom, show these Echidnas who's boss!"


With its water talons, it slashed at Knuckles first.

The figure was done watching, suddenly purple energy bullets flew out at the watery beast.

"WHOA!!" As he dodged the watery slash narrowly, he looked between the bullets and the hedgehog that just appeared. "I... can someone explain what the heck's happening right now?!"

[AnT]

"The Ancient Onyx and the Jeweled Scepter. Two relics related to the Chaos and Sol Emeralds, the anchors of the planet." said a voice by the now Master Emerald.

Leaning on it, coolly, was a purple hedgehog woman was a white cloth around her chest, and white versions of Sonic's shoes.

With its liquid body, the shots didn't do much but caught the monster's attention. Not moving from its spot, it stretched out an arm to his attacker.


Wendy might have looked like in her early 20's, but she was over a 1000 years old truthfully. When her eyes laid on Aleena, her mind throbbed. Like a memory aching to warn to her.

The attacker from the shadows leaped out and landed beside Knux...



(The A Stands for Armor) "..." It scanned at the beast, realizing that it would be a challenge, even for it's advanced equipment, but it rushed in, suddenly bringing out two blades and slashed at it with purple energy flowing from the blades.

[YolkaEd]

"I- wait, no, hang on!" Knuckles groaned as he held his hands up. "Okay, I give, I'm lost! Who's this bot? And who're you? And what just happened?!" he yelled at the purple hedgehog, looking more and more confused by the second.

[candescence]

She panted as she emerged from the hole the Kingdom Stone came through, "what the...?! It's..."


"Nevermind that, look! This could turn into a bloodbath, fast..."


"... I have no idea what's going on."

"Are you absolutely certain? You detected the Stone?"


"My lord, it seems to have merged with something else... To become even more powerful. I am also detecting numerous life signs from that location... Including Lilac and Carol."


"Oh, my... How interesting. Well, then... We can't let them abscond with the Stone, now can we...? But we should allow our enemies to thin themselves out, first. I want troops monitoring the scene. I will decide when to make our move."

Long time no see, Sabrina the Teenage Witch. How's that tumor I gave you?" she smirked, tapping her own head.

[Alien-Child]

"Aleena..." The name came out of her lips automatic, like a whisper from a dream. With it, fragmented memories popped up. "How-You're mortal, you should be dead!"

The blades cut through the monster, but it didn't feel a thing. Raising an arm, it swatted the armored being.

[YolkaEd]

"...ugh!" With a groan, he quickly began charging towards the watery monster, reeling his fist back to give it a solid punch in the face.

And the swat managed to make the figure fly back, smashing into a pillar.

He took a breath. "...should we wait for a moment? I'm not even sure where we are..."

"Funny thing about mortals; they have ways on cheating death. Excuse me,"

And Aleena knocked Chaos on its head with a Homing Attack.

"Attention, boys and girls! Class is now in session. Master Emerald 101. That includes those who might be watching on the shadows."

Out of all the blows, it was Aleena who struck the most painful. So much, it melted into a puddle and slithered elsewhere.


"You know this woman?"


"Ugh, wish I didn't remembered." Wendy winced, rubbing her temples.

He gawked at that, looking down at his fists before he looked back at Aleena. "...Master Emerald? The heck's this about now?"

The figure crawled out of the wreckage, and scanned around the area briefly. Chaos was escaping, and there were far too many beings in the area than before. So it suddenly turned invisible through stealth tech, and took it's leave.

[candescence]

"Yeah, we should wait for a moment..."


"Who is that woman...? Aleena...? The only person I can remember with that name... Is..." Blaze blinked, "no, no... It can't be her, she's supposed to be long dead..."


"I still have no idea what's going on..."

"You see, kids, this mighty gem was the original controller of both set of emeralds, until the big drip got all ticked when ancient echidna tribes tried stealing the Chaos Emeralds for their own gain. A great priest sacrificed her life to seal Chaos in the emeralds, which resulted in splitting its power. The Ancient Onyx, the Jeweled Scepter, and the Kingdom Stone were the results."
