Physically, Big is a complete and utter beast; possessing some ridiculous strength for someone of his stature, and is a lot faster than you would initially believe. His bulk also helps in reducing any form of damage he takes, giving him resistances to some distinct elements, and overall increased endurance. He's also a good swimmer and climber, possesses a great sense of smell, and is an excellent fisherman.
Weakness:
Big is somewhat slow; not in the agility kind of way, but more in the perception kind of way. While not directly stupid, he's far more simple than others around him, and a lot of important issues tend to fly right over his head.
POW Move:
Fishing Rod, in which he... well, uses his fishing rod for many a purpose; like reeling in objects to smack against enemies, tripping them in the line, even having a foldable umbrella hidden inside it to slow down a rapid descent.

History:
There's not really much to talk about with Big; he's just a simple guy from a simple place, taking the time to enjoy the solitude of nature instead of the intensity of suburbia. He found himself a pet frog to call a companion, and spends his days just about anywhere he could think of... even in places you wouldn't think you'd see him.
