 Now this was distressing to her. Pit in an actual army? And she had to fight the likes of these? "...n-no, I can't!"
 Developing weapons, to boot? Curious... though why go for such a childish design? Well, she could always report this to GUN while remaining incognito. She moved a hand to tap against her boot, letting a silent camera snap some shots as she kept wandering.

 Pressing down his throat, more, "There's no way you could be Aleena's descendant!! She died during her battle against Julian Robotnik!! How could you have her abilities?!"
 "ALL YOUR BASE BELONGS TO US!!!" someone screamed in Amy's ear with a bullhorn. "AAAAAGH!!!" It even shocked the voice in her head.
And Rouge would hear a scream down the hall, which shocked the researcher to rush for it.
"Come back here!!" After the pilot got rid of the snakes, he flew after Tails. |

Coughing, Sonic just looked Shadow straight back, squirming lightly. "...lucky coincidence...?" he remarked, still managing a bit of a cocky grin.
"AAAAAHHHH!!!" That really shook Amy, and she began waving her hammer wildly around the area. "GET AWAY FROM ME!!!"
...now what? While the scream was concerning, she didn't have time to investigate this herself. She kept advancing, hidden as she were. |

This led her to a long hallway, leading to some double doors, where the green researcher hurried to. This scientist looked like some type of skinny ogre.  "Sir! Sir!!" The doors bolted open when a massive mammoth in a business suit man exited in a foul mood.   "Aleena....!" he growled with venom.
But was stopped when someone caught Amy's arms. "Shhh! It's okay. He's gone."  Who happened to be a purple hedgehog who seemed to have copied Sonic's style of fashion and attitude.
"Hmph. I see you're just ignorant about it." he scoffed. And he suddenly unleashed a powerful blast of energy from his hand that smashed Sonic through the building. |

She blinked, as she kept a close eye on this scene whilst remaining hidden. ...Aleena...? Just what's your story with her, Mogul...?
She was breathing rapidly and quickly, looking at the hedgehog with wide eyes. "Wha... buh... you're..." She still seemed a bit out of it after going through that.
Sonic grit his teeth as he was sent smashing through the building, crossing his arms as he eventually felt himself entering free fall... ...and then he landed on a nearby roof, shakily dropping to a knee. "Geez... what crawled up his spikes, huh...?" As he pushed himself to his feet, he shook his head lightly, trying to recalibrate himself. |

But it seems Shadow wouldn't give him the chance to for a pair of energy spears hurled for him.
@grimer@ "What happened, sir?" "Aleena happened. She interrupted my link to Rose." he snarled.
Speaking of whom, the girl smirked. "What? The Fiery Blur? The things the media calls you when you don't give them the time to at least tell them your name." Grinning, she rubbed her head. "The Fiery Blur is fine, but you can call me Aleena."
"AAAAGH!!" And now it sounds like something was on the pilot again. Now would be a good time to hide somewhere in the buildings. |

"...whoa!" Quickly, he shot off the roof to land on another, grunting as he saw the energy spears smash onto the building he had been standing on. He then quickly tried to see where he had vanished to.
"...Aleena..." As she slowly managed to calm down, Amy relaxed more as she closed her eyes. "...thanks a ton... man, that was scary..."
...Rose... Pondering just what the mammoth had been intending, her gaze veered towards the office he had emerged from, to see if she could discern anything of particular note. |

He managed to find an undamaged building that he hid behind, trying to catch his breath. Okay, calm down...think... This was just another wild goose chase to keep him from getting the emerald. If he could just figure out how to get past those...zombies... ...yeah, why are there zombies here? That helicopter pilot acted like he never saw them...even freaked out about some snakes... Suddenly, he narrowed his eyes. "...wait a minute..." |

@grimer@ "I suppose that means you burned out another Pico weapon. Shall we try this one, sir?" "Not at the moment. Right now, I believe someone needs to be negotiated. Isn't that right, bat?" he frowned.
No need to look for him, for Shadow zipped at Sonic and tried to slice him with a energy lance.
Not a good idea to close your eyes, for when you opened them, she was gone. |

...well, darn. Since she were spotted anyhow, she flew up and lingered by the ceiling, legs folded as she gave Mogul a faint wave. "Double-payment for your guards, and they couldn't even spot little ol' me. I'd reconsider who I hire from now on."
"Whoa!" In the nick of time, Sonic stepped back from the sudden slash, before he suddenly shot by Shadow and then dashed against his back to ram into him.
"...oh, dear." Shaking her head, she looked around. "...now what...?"

"Oof!!" Normally he'd have dodged that, but the earlier impacts had thrown him off his game; taking the Spin Dash and skidding along the roof, but then suddenly charging in for a quick Homing Attack.
"Oh, you wound me." With a light chuckle, she tapped her cheek lightly. "Normally I'd go for all the jewels in your vault... but today I'm feeling generous. One specific gem from your collection, and my lips are sealed."
"...oh dear..." Rubbing her head, she pondered just what to do. "...I didn't think Sonic was gonna deal with those kinda guys..." Looking back at the city, she trailed her gaze between it and her warp ring. "...maybe..." |
