Somewhere else on the large terrain that was the Land of Darkness, there was a place that was massively thick with plant life. It was also incredibly foggy; so much so, that it gained the name White Jungle.
A small girl tip toed her way down the path, watching around herself carefully. She, herself, was a plant being. She kept her senses alert to her friends…the plants. If they were in any kind of distress, she’d know to hide, for there could be something terrible afoot.
She hoped there wouldn’t be anything nasty to surprise her though. She was on her way back from wandering around, and she was looking for a particular place…
“…ah…” she smiled with relief when she found where, or what she was looking for.
It was a gigantic tree, and a tree of a different species than that of the trees that were native to the jungle here. It was like a giant oak tree.
She knelt down before the tree, looking up at it. “…I’m…back sister…”
The tree did nothing, as, it was just a tree after all. The girl sensed a pleasant feeling from this tree, like it was happy to see her.
She smiled a bit sadly. “…I’m sorry I wander so much…I know that it’s dangerous…you would always tell me not to go too far off…”
No response from the tree, naturally. Still, there was that feeling of comfort and reassurance…no matter what, this girl always wished to come back to this certain tree; supposedly a tree that she called her sister.
She couldn’t help but look down at the ground with her smile faltering. “…I miss you sister…” she mumbled. “…I wish I could hear your voice again…I feel so alone out here…and frightened.” Yes, while she could visit this tree and feel somewhat comforted, she couldn’t deny the fact that this was a tree now, and not the Seedrian woman that she once knew as her older sister.
