 Seeing that, she grinned, "oh, wow, that is SO COOL! I can sorta do that, but not long..." She leaped off, and performed a Dragon Cyclone mid-fall, allowing her to land safely. "Alright, now, how to get to shore..."  "We'll either have to swim or find a boat... And I am not terribly keen on the prospect of swimming." "I can swim pretty fast. I could scout out the island and see if anyone's home." |

"Alright, then, I'll be back in a flash! I'll see I can steal a small boat for you two," Lilac said, rushing to the water's edge, spinning in mid-air, and shooting off across the water with a Dragoon Boost, before hitting the water and heading straight for the island already at high speed, moving majestically in the water. "Her ability to move in the water is quite impressive..." |

The military boats stood out like giant jagged towers out in the waters. There were also old fighter jets within the waters. The only way to the island was the old docks, that had many broken wooden docks and bays.

"Right, then..." She headed to the old docks, trying to get up higher so she could see if there were any smaller boats around.

At that point, the earth right next to them shifted...  ...and he popped out of the ground, a sorta awkward look on him. "...if you wanna get across without getting wet, I can dig a tunnel for you guys. It's gonna be a long walk, though." he murmured. Given that he hadn't properly followed the group before now, it might or might not be a welcome sight. |

"Right, then. One moment." She launched a flare into the sky, which exploded in a bright light... ...and soon enough, Lilac came swimming over. "Hey, what's going on?" "Knuckles just offered us another route, via an underground tunnel. Don't worry about a boat, just start looking for the emerald," Blaze nodded to her, and climbed into the hole. "Alright, if you say so!" Lilac chuckled, and swim back the island to start exploring. |

Though there wasn't gonna be a lot of conversation; he was already a ways through the tunnel, digging his way towards the island underground while the others would follow. |

She followed along as they moved along the tunnel, and decided to make some small-talk. "Hmm... Knuckles, you said you were a treasure hunter, correct? I imagine you've been to a lot of places..." |

"The rest is hazy, but most of my people were consumed by the disaster, and my parents stopped it at the cost of their lives... I suspect they sealed the creature below Crisis City, and it spawns monsters that plague it every so often..." She didn't realize that she was actually mistaken... |
