A boat made its way into the underground ruins, as the whole place was partially flooded. Though there was little light...  Blaze could make her own light, illuminating the way and lighting any torches she could see. "This place is truly ancient..."  "No kidding, this is so cool!" Lilac grinned. "The emerald should be around here somewhere... Let's see... Wait. Hold up." She stopped the engine, and then held the flame up to a huge mural on a wall on one of the buildings. "There's something strange about this mural..." It was damaged, but it displayed a scene of a great battle. And in the middle of it... "... Wait, who are those three in the middle...? There's some kind of hedgehog, someone who looks like me, and... You?" "No, that can't be right... The resemblance is too close to be a coincidence, especially the clothing. Unless there is some mistake... This mural is showing us. And see here... The hedgehog has the Chaos Emeralds, I have the Sol Emeralds, and you have the Kingdom Stone... And we're fighting... Why?" "But... This has to be thousands of years old!" "The only explanation... Is that the people who lived her divined our existence through prophecy. Interesting. I have heard that the ancient peoples used the power of chaos to see the future, but..." "This is too creepy... Let's just keep going, and find that emerald..." |

Fancy that, because she was here. As the boat started again, Blaze used the emerald she already had on her as a radar to estimate the direction and distance of the next emerald. "We're getting closer..." Lilac, however, was on edge... |

Sadly their journey was suddenly met with difficulty as buildings in this ancient city started crumbling, walls and columns broke apart as giant tentacles whack into them.  All the tentacles originated from a monster squid. While the boneless limbs were organic, its eyes and head were cybernetic. Wendy cackled madly, flying around the monster. "That's right my pretty. Make this journey easier. Break through everything so we can find that emerald!" |

"Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised," Lilac sighed, diving into the water, and promptly charged to attack the eye, launching herself into it with a Dragon Boost. "Argh... Well, at least we'll have something for dinner tonight," Blaze remarked, as she started up her flames, and unleashed them on the organic bits of the squid, intent on cooking it entirely. |

The robotic eye locked onto Lilac and fired a laser beam. As for Blaze, she might have burnt a small part, but the tentacle lashed down hard upon her. "Ah, right on the cue." Wendy laughed, watching the girls battle her latest monster. |

"Whoa!" She swam around the laser, her Dragon Boost having protected her briefly enough to change course, and went to strike from another angle, hitting it with a Dragon Cyclone multi-hit attack. Blaze kicked the boat away, leaping off, and wall-jumping onto the tentacle, burning it, before she leaped to another surface to repeat the process. |

When Lilac hit a tentacle, the blobby skin just bounced her off. While Blaze another mark, an eye would fire a laser straight for her. "Give it up girls, the gem is good as mine!" Wendy cackled, raising the Jeweled Sceptor, "JUST AS THIS IS!" |

"How did you...?!" she barely rolled in time to evade the laser, "not even I could access the Scepter's vault!" "Hey, Blaze? How bad is her having that thing from one to ten?" Lilac asked, as she made her way up to her. "Very bad! The Jeweled Scepter holds an immense amount of power! Enough to destroy the world, if the user willed it!" "Then we need to get it back... I have an idea." Having gotten up to Blaze, she whispered into her ear... "Hmm... That might work... Alright, I trust you." She then lit a fire under Lilac, which transformed into a rising column of heat and air shooting upwards... And Lilac used a Dragon Cyclone to use the heat flow from the flames to launch herself high into the air, shooting past Wendy... ...and suddenly launched herself downwards, her foot aimed right at Wendy's face, her hand moving to try and grab the Scepter. |

Only to be blasted away by an electric field. "Fool! Like I'd let you take away this so easily!" The monster wailed, its tentacled grabbed onto Lilac before she fell. "With the Jeweled Scepter, I control the Power of the Stars! The Axis between the two dimensions are under my command." Wendy lashed the sceptor, and the whole ground would rumble. |

However, Blaze was quick to burn off the tentacle holding Lilac, "alright, then, genius, why do you need the Sol Emeralds, then? If you have so much power, and the emeralds are scattered, there's nothing stopping you!" She slipped out of the grip, and quickly went for the cybernetic eye again, using another Dragon Boost to try and smash it. |

Once again, another laser fired blocked her. "Oh silly Princess, you protected great power for so long, you understand so little." Wendy laughed, "I seek unlimited power. Sure I can destroy the whole Land of the Sky if I want to, break the axis between the two worlds and set an unbalance between order and chaos, but that won't mean I have complete control over everything." |

"Then what exactly is outside your grasp?!" Lilac grit her teeth as she was once again rebuffed, but she surfaced, took a deep breath, and then focused all her energy. Her body gained a cyan glow, and she spun just above the water's surface... "Lilac...?" "Take... THIS!" The entire area shook as she released the power she had focused into a Super Dragon Boost, intent on smashing through the entire monster in one go. She rarely risked using this much power without the help of things such as the power rings in Pangu Lagoon, but she needed to break through that defense! She has that kind of power...?! Even if she can only use it sparingly, it is quite impressive... I just wonder how powerful a true dragon is... |

BONG! When Lilac tackled into the metal head, despite all the power she did, not even a dent. Annoyed, the monster whip her away. "Take that for example." Wendy pointing to the display of power Lilac had just done to no results, "Magic, the union of chaos and order, it would be an invincible force if it weren't for certain weaknesses. Particularly Iron. A mere metal, but no matter how powerful the magic is, it can not overpower the natural element." |

"Ugh..." Lilac groaned, swimming away to recover her energy, getting back onto solid ground. She paused... And then smirked. "Ah, yes, speaking of natural elements... Thank you for giving me an idea." She then gathered all the heat she could muster, from both the surroundings and the Emerald... And concentrated it into both the water around the monster, and its metal, cybernetic parts. "The problem with metal... Is that it heats easily. Very easily. And when you're surrounded by metal, in the wrong conditions... You end up in what is essentially an oven! And guess what water does when it's heated... It boils." |

The monster wailed, feeling burnt up. Wendy snorted. "Well if you want to show off power, then I shall too." Wendy raised her staff, the gem on the top shined bright. All the throughout the zone and the entire island rumbled violently. Suddenly, the ground feel like it'll be rising up. Lilac, Blaze and the monster would be smacked, pressed against the ground. It'll look like gravity pulled them down, but in truth, it was the ground pushing into them. |

"Ugh...!" She was pressed against the floor, "is this gravity...? No, this the other way round...! But if it's pushing upwards... Where is everything going...?!" She grit her teeth, and slipped back into the water. The pressure was still there, but was much more manageable, as there was a softer substance between here and the floor that she could float in... If she could find the emerald in the water, somewhere... They might have more of an edge... |

After some minutes, the land finally stopped moving. The stop was so sudden, Lilac, Blaze and even the giant monster would be sent flying into the air.

They didn't had to grab anything, as Wendy grab them both with her magical hold. Looking down below, he can see some of the water being drained in whirlpools that suddenly appeared. "What are you doing?" "Planning to show off my new territory. As much as the Misery Zone is so perfect for me, I can seclude myself to one zone. Sides, I need a new base and expanded territory. You girls want a tour?" |
