Future City - Test Run Gone Wrong

Okay, so he's had a bit to clean up shop and organize it a little bit...

...but he immediately got caught up with his project. When he remembered Jet asking if he was a Gear Rider, and he answered that he was, but didn't have a Gear...

...Well, he had to fix that problem didn't he?

And after getting a glimpse of that guy's Gear as an outline, he was able to slowly piece one together with the parts he had in those boxes. It wasn't perfect, but it was a way better job then when he first started building these. "Heh," and he was eager to try it out.

He grabbed a pair of goggles, and with the Gear tucked under his arm, he stepped outside, and took a look at it.

It was a mix of brown and red colors painted onto a gear that looked old, but at least well-built.

"It's gotta work this time!" he huffed, letting it float on the ground. Then he hopped onto it, and stood to find his balance...

"...huh...not so bad--AAAAAAAAAGH!" And suddenly it took off when he wasn't ready, somehow staying on it.

[candescence]

"... You hear something?" Carol asked, as she rode along the street with the white hedgehog behind her on the bike.

[kelik]

But the white hedgehog in question didn't answer, he was just in awe at the scenery. "...amazing..." He uttered, completely zoned out.

"...aaaaaAAAAAAAAAGH!" And a brown figure zipped past them.

[candescence]

"Whoa!" She blinked, as she saw Brick shoot past, "what the heck was that?!"

[kelik]

"!" That snapped him out of that, he looked over at what was in the sky. "What the?!"

Suddenly, the figure was slowing down a bit.

and they saw this guy riding on a hover board. "Whew! Finally got control of it!" He told himself.

[candescence]

Carol blinked, stopping the bike... And grinned. "that... THAT IS SO COOL."

[kelik]

And once again, Silver was in awe of that. "That's...amazing!" EX-TREME Gears have also been eradicated where he came from, so seeing one for the first time is shocking...

"Hm?" He heard people wailing and looked back, seeing them.

So he decided to swerve around and go up to them, halting on his board in front of them. "Thanks," he told them. "Took me forever to control this thing."

[candescence]

"Where'd you get something like that?!" Carol grinned, "I mean, a flying hoverboard, that's just so awesome!"

[kelik]

The hedgehog was curious as well, so he nodded a bit.

"Oh yeah, these are kinda recent so I get why you've never seen em before," he said. "They're EX-TREME Gears!"

[candescence]

"Um... Is it just boards, then? I wouldn't mind having a hoverbike..."

[kelik]

"EX-TREME Gear..." He repeated in awe, then rose up from the bike from his psychic powers to meet the bull in the air. "It looks like a lot of fun."

[JC303]

"You know, I think I've seen a bike version--WAAAAGH!" He didn't expect the hedgehog to float in the air and the jolt backwards knocked him off his board, hitting his head on the ground.

[candescence]

"WHOA! You alright?!" Carol got off the bike to check if the bull was alright, and then blinked at Silver, "hey, since when could you fly?!"

[kelik]

"Oh, sorry!" He gasped and landed to check too, then looked over at Carol. "Oh, well it's not exactly flight. I can hover using my own psychokinesis..."

He sat up, rubbing his head with a groan. "Next time kid...warn me."

[candescence]

"Psychic powers?! Geez, everyone has superpowers but me these days," Carol pouted. But then she turned to Brick, grinning, "soooooooo you said something about a bike version?"
