Though sadly, it'll be hard to find a general, when all the sirens sounded out. The base's weapon hangers were suddenly besieged by a swarm of rockets. The unactive GUN mechs were destroyed in an instant, caught in gunfire...  The cause of the destruction came from this bulky red robot, flailing his gatling guns toward the base from the air, and his shoulders opened up sending out more rockets. "DESTROY! DESTROY!" Was it's simple response. |

 Her ears perked, "Huh?" When she heard some whistling sounds. Looking out the lot, she saw three smoke streaks swirling down toward a parked jet... BOOOOM!!! Blasting it into a fiery blaze.  "Mwahahahahahaha!!" Explosions erupted on the ground, from there, Eggman, in his walker, marched out of the smoke.  "Wow, just in time." she hissed, as the press fled. @garcia@ "Hey, where you going? Get those cameras set, this is better than the Soleanna story!!" she shouted, slamming her make-up kit in the ground when her crew coward. |

 "AAAAAAGH!!!" And since that robot was so close, Antoine grabbed the girls' arms and ran off. A good thing the camera was still in his backpack.  Meanwhile, the robotic hedgehog was zipping in zig zags around the area the GUN robots were charging through to stop Eggman's rampage. Before they knew it, the droids were sliced in two. |

 With the chaos presently wreaking havoc around the base, she had taken the moment to slip inside one of the buildings, remaining hidden as she chuckled to herself. The reports he's gonna have to file because of this makes this all the more worth it. |

Blazing across the airport at record speed, Antoine hid between the main buildings, where he finally stopped, exhausted. "...at least he didn't leave the camera," she grumbled, rubbing her poor wrist.
As Eggman and his robots fired random destruction all around, while fighting off the GUN robots, two soldiers ran off into a hanger. "The president will want to hear of this." |

Suddenly, a blast of light burst in the alley they were in. Screaming, Antoine leaped into Bunnie's arms. The rabbit, though would've dropped him, was distracted by the familiar figure that made that light. And it was almost shaped like a certain hedgehog. "....Sugah-hog?"  The hedgehog turned at them, with red glowing eyes... "Aaaagh..." That made the coyote faint. |

As the chaos kept escalating, Rouge had slipped further into the base, reaching just where she needed to be. "Aah... the vault." With a grin, she glanced around the room, eyes peeled. "Now, if I'm not mistaken..." And she began to fly carefully up into the air, headed for the top floor of the vault; keeping herself out of sight. With the many safes and how gigantic the vault was, it would take ages for normal thieves to find what they needed. |

"...." Aiming a hand at them, green energy built up. Gritting, she prepared to grab Sally's arm and... "Shadow, Rouge is in position. Where are you?" the voice of Eggman shouted through a radio frequency. "Hmph." And Shadow unleashed a powerful blast at the ground... "AAAAAGH!!" Which launched the girls off their feet. After Bunnie stopped rolling off the ground... ...she saw, in time when the smoke cleared, that the door was blasted open, and the hedgehog was gone. |

Grabbing the side of her head to keep it from spinning, Sally's eyes slowly focus for her to realize they aren't dead, but the mystery hedgehog has left and open a door. "He's with Eggman?" She heard the voice clearly, though its new cause usually Robotnik has robots for minions, never a biological creature before. |

In the air, off near the base...  He flew his plane with a sigh. He was just glad to get away from those girls and whatever damage could come from them fighting. "There it is, Sonic!" he called. |

 Sonic kept his arms folded as he stood on the wing of the plane, watching the base incoming. "Right, so we beat up Eggman and Metal, wipe them off the base, and everything should fix itself."  "You said it! I have a good feeling about this!" "Thanks." ...we'll give you all a few seconds to realize that Amy's presently standing on the other wing as well with no explanation. He did eventually realize this, slowly turning to look at the pink hedgehog with wide eyes and a wide-open mouth.
"And here we are..." As she stopped by the top floor of the vault chamber, she looked towards a series of levers and buttons; looking mighty complex for just any ordinary burglar. But she was far from any ordinary burglar. Flying over to these systems, she hummed lightly to herself as she began to pull some levers and push some buttons, in meticulous and careful order. Doing it like this would disable the security system in the specific safe she was after. |

"He's after the emerald! Stop him!" A blockade of GUN troops and robots formed in front of Eggman's path and a storm of shots and bombs. A brief energy dome shielded the doctor from the fire as his homing cannon locked on every single target. It rapidly fired plasma blasts, knocking them down. "Mwahahaha! Now you know why I am the best!" Suddenly an alarm sounded from his panel. He spotted a signature on his radar. "Figures he come. Metal! Sonic is arriving from the air. Stop him!" Nodding, the droid blasted into the sky like a rocket.
"No doubt he's after the emerald, then." she frowned. |
