And he jolted. "HOW DID YOU GET HERE?!" He uttered at Amy.

"...trade secret?" Amy grinned innocently as she glanced to the side.



"Okay, I'm not gonna accept that one." Sonic quickly pointed off the plane. "You have to get off, this isn't gonna be a cakewalk!"



"...but now I literally can't." Amy noted. "If I do, I'm gonna fall and get hurt."



"ARGH!" Even for Sonic, that was too much. "Geez, and I thought Sara was a pain...!"



She gasped. "Oh, you don't mean that!"



"Trust me, it's close by now!"

"...and done." With a chuckle, Rouge stepped away from the buttons and levers, before she began flying down along the vault. "Now for the right one... and it should be around..."

[Alien-Child]

"Which is why I knew being here would bring us a good story. Antoine for the last time, GET THAT CAMERA ROLLING!"

[AnT]

She showed her the coyote in her arms. "He passed out when that there dark boy showed up, and ah don't blame him this time. That hedgehog looks like bad news, gurl."

Locking on right at the Tornado, Metal unleashed a energy beam from his chest.

"WAAAUGH!" He was surprised by the beam and he swerved to just barely avoid it.

Sonic could probably handle the sudden jerk, but Amy may be another story.

[YolkaEd]

"AAAAHH!!" Her eyes widened as her arms flailed wildly to try and regain her balance, even as the plane was swerving so wildly.



"Oh, for-!!" Thankfully, as he kept his balance just fine, Sonic managed to grab onto Amy's arm to keep her from falling. "Dang it...! Tails, you got more room back there?!"

With a small chuckle, she stopped in front of a specific safe, her fingers twitching lightly as she reached towards the door; with its security system disabled, a lone touch would be enough to open it up and reveal the prize within.

[Alien-Child]

Yeah, no kidding. Looks like Antoine gets a break this time. "Nicole, start recording!"

[AnT]

"Y'all bettah head on off. Ah can't go with yuh if ah'm carrying this sorry lug around."

Metal shot after the plane when it flew past him. Lucky for Tails, his beam needs some time to charge up, and it slows him down.

It took a bit of time getting to the armory, and beating up a trail of robots and troops, but he did it. The hedgehog pulled out the timer device, ready to arm it. "I'm in position, doctor. Tell me when."

"Do it now. Sonic is here, so there's no more time to waste. Set the timer for 15 minutes. Let's go, Rouge."

The green emerald was finally released...however, there was one problem. The vault had a backup security alarm, and it was set off, with red lights flashing in all rooms.

"And back you go!" With a quick huff, Sonic got Amy just behind Tails' seat. "Don't follow me and get yourself in more trouble!" As he stretched out, he waited for the best opportunity to make a jump. "Tails, when he shoots, make a dive!"



She flailed about briefly. "What about you, then?!"



"I got a plan!"

"Mh...!" Her eyes narrowed as the alarm was suddenly tripped. "...I wasn't briefed on this." As she took the emerald, she heard Eggman's voice. "Working on it. GUN had a ace hidden up their sleeve." With a huff, she quickly began flying around towards the nearest exit.

"Right!" And he watched Metal carefully.

[Alien-Child]

"This is Ricki the Squirrel reporting straight from the Gun Fortress!" Sally said as she ran through the halls. "Dr. Eggman has attacked the base this time (no doubt for the Chaos Emerald said to be kept in here)."

[AnT]

Now fully charged, Metal span into a spinning metal saw and shot for the Tornado.

But alas, Rouge's path was blocked by steel doors closing on her. Another closed behind her, trapping her in a large room.

As for Sally, she would run into a certain black hedgehog.

"Now!" And he dove downwards.

"WHOA!!" She clutched to Tails as the plane dove...



...while he made a sudden leap, seeing Metal just pass by under him. "Too slow, Metal!!" And as he spun into a ball as well, he shot towards the metallic hedgehog to tackle it.

"Nh!" Her eyes narrowed, as she quickly looked around. "...okay... not the best situation to be in right now..."

[Alien-Child]

Trembling, she fumbled over her mic. "W-with me is Dr. Eggman ally, um...c-care to give us a name, sir?"

[AnT]

Tackling him from the side, Metal was knocked right off his spin attack.


Gritting, Eggman was furious that Metal wasn't getting the upper hand. Perhaps he should've stuck with Sonic's life data. Well for now, Tails was in his range. "Fire!" So he shot a homing blast right for the plane.

Now with Rouge was a large green hover mech, with shoulder missile launchers.

Staring at Sally, his frown deepened. "You press sicken me. You spread false truth to the world, never bother to look beyond what you see. It because of you people why he was wrongfully executed."

[kelik]

He turned to the plane too, seeing his master fire on it. "..." He then shuffled to cover the doctor's back, by firing at more incoming GUN mechs.

"HANG ON!" He called to Amy, trying to fly around Eggman's attacks.

"AAAAAHH!!" Clutching to Tails, she just held on as best she could.

Seeing this mech approach, Rouge let out a brief chuckle, a wry one at that, as she shrugged lightly. "...don't suppose you could just stand down, hm? Recognize me, right?" she tried, holding her arms out lightly as she looked up at the mech.

"And down you go!" With a quick nod, Sonic shot down to try and kick Metal against some kind of surface, before he'd land on a platform. "Phew... getting the hang of this."
