 The moment his face slammed on said surface, Metal bounced back off. Spotting Sonic on some radar tower, the robot shot right at him, crashing into the tower, hard.  "Hold still, Prowler!!" Eggman growled, rapidly firing his plasma cannon at him.
Suddenly, her communicator went off. "Agent Jules calling Agent Rouge. Come in Rouge."
 "That remains to be seen." he scoffed. Leaning at her with a glare, "But you can tell the world this. Tell the world that I, Shadow the Hedgehog, will avenge Proffesor Gerald Robotnik for his injustice this ungrateful world put him under." And the hedgehog walked off, rudely brushing Sally through. |

 After clearing the oncoming GUN mechs, he turned to the plane too and locked onto it. "Target locked!" And he sent out a few rockets toward the plane too. |

 "HE'S SHOOTING AGAIN!!!" Amy called out as she clung to Tails even more.
 "Whoa!" Leaping off the toppling tower, he glanced back with a bit of a grin. "Still got that talent for smashing property, huh? How's Eggman coming along after you wrecked his base?"
 A faint hiss fled her lips as she pressed a finger against her communicator. "Jules, this really isn't the time; I'm in the middle of something..." |

 "GCK-you're choking me!" he gargled, since Amy snared him by the neck. This also pulled him backward and caused him to shoot up into the air, while still trying to avoid fire. |

She frowned, rubbing her arm where Shadow shoved her. "Rude." But she regain her posture when she remembered she's being recorded, "You heard it here folks! Shadow the Hedgehog has allied himself with Dr. Eggman to seek vengeance on our planet. How will this turn out?" |

 "This is the best time we can get. The Flying Dog you are facing is on stand by. Now I'm already risking too much letting you take the emerald. I need to know if the base isn't in any risk. Keep in mind that we keep Anti-Chaos weapons there." (Anti Chaos weapons are like nuclear weapons.)
And Metal shot at Sonic, headbutting him with the force of a train.
"Arrrgh!!" he growled, for Tails was not out of range. "Rouge, where are you?" And all he was getting was static. "Shadow?" Still static. "What is going on?" |

Amy still just held onto Tails, though she did lower her grasp so she wasn't gripping around his neck.
"GUH!!" He reeled back as he shook his head, skidding dangerously close to the edge of the platform. "Okay... everyone's a critic, it seems." With a huff, he spun around and shot straight for Metal once again.
Her eyes widened. "...you're keeping the Anti-Chaos weapons here?! Of all places?!" Her tone actually shifted from annoyed to sincerely mortified. "...Jules... you have about ten minutes to get everyone as far away from this base as you can." |

"Those weapons will destroy more than this base if whatever bomb you used is not stopped."The doors suddenly opened. "You continue your mission. I'll deal with the bomb."
And Metal struck back with his own Homing Attack. Repeatedly, they did, until they were locked by flying in circles, chasing each other.

With a brief huff, she just glanced to the side. "...just don't do anything stupid. You've got people waiting for you." Clutching her emerald tightly, she hurried on out.
Rapidly striking Metal back, Sonic just focused on trying to sneak in any potential advantages he could, to keep Metal from overwhelming him. |

Knocked back, Metal forced his circuity to go wild, flaring with electricity. Metal charged at Sonic, attempting to crash onto him like a bomb.
Meanwhile, Shadow nearly ran into Rouge, from the corner of some halls. |

Seeing him coming towards him, Sonic huffed. "...alright, come and get it- psyche!" And he quickly side-stepped to let Metal just soar straight past him, off the platform.

"Whew," since he was outside of Eggman's range and Amy wasn't choking him, he flew around. Then he saw Sonic and Metal duking it out, frowning. "He's keeping us busy. We gotta get into the island and figure out what he's doing." |

Nodding, "Let's go." Grabbing onto the emerald, the two ported off.
And Metal crashed right onto the tower, exploding like a bomb. "Argh!" he growled. Even with Metal's healing capibitilty, it'll take him a while to recover from that. Suddenly, Shadow and Rouge ported beside Eggman. Seeing the emerald lifted his spirits. "Excellent. Now onto step 2." Suddenly a massive red ship appeared from thin air, blocking the sunlight; the Egg Carrier.
"Ms Squirrel!" Running up to Sally was the hedgehog officer himself. "How did you get in here? You need to leave, there is a bomb in here connected to some Anti Chaos explosives." |

Her gaze fell upon the massive ship as it appeared before them. "...that's quite a ride." With a swift breath, Sonic glanced over at the collection of people grouped together. "...hey, now, Eggman; you've gone and gotten some new friends?" "Mh?" She glanced over, and if she wasn't playing it cool now, she could have reeled just a touch at that sight. Oh, great... Jules' son had to be here, too...
"...you think it has something to do with that?" Amy uttered as she pointed at the massive battleship that appeared from thin air. |

Noticing the computer in her hand, "That computer..." Gritting, "Miss, as much as this goes against my judgement on putting a civilian at risk, I need the help of your computer to defuse the bomb."
