And the moment she stepped in, something lit up, with small red light first, followed by ceiling lights, flickering. BGM: SA2 - Black NoisesAnd they would find a massive mechanical door, with this logo on it.  Also, they would sense the emerald inside. |

Not only it caused a dent, the door nearly toppled out of its hinges, making rather loud rusty metal sounds that echoed the room. But lucky for them, the door did not fall on them, giving them access to the next room.
It looks like a very small computer, with some yellow dome that looks like there's a electronic brain inside. The computer was before a pit with many wires reaching down in it.
Also, lying on the floor, in front of the computer, was a green emerald.

"...well, that was easy." As if the computer wasn't even there, Knuckles approached the emerald to pick it up, holding it up for the others to see. "You telling me there's just six more to go? We'll have them in no time." |

"Sounds about right! Still, what is this place...?" Lilac blinked. "I suggest we leave before anything else happens," Blaze said, taking the emerald out of Knuckles' hands. After all, it was hers. "This chamber has an operational computer, and it is clearly performing some sort of process." |

Suddenly, the emerald in her hand sparked, coursing energy around her. This in turn activated the yellow dome that seemed to have reacted to her. Steaming shot out of the pit.

"What the... LILAC! CATCH!" She tossed the emerald to Lilac... "Huh...?!" She gasped, catching it. Much to her surprise, the energy flow suddenly started shorting out periodically. "That should buy us some time... We're leaving! Now!" Blaze shot past them, out of the room. "I do not want to be here when whatever's in that pit activates! We need to get the emerald away from it!" "Okay, good idea," Lilac gulped, as she ran after Blaze. |

A capsule began to rise out of the pit, spraying steam from below.

"Nh...!" Seeing the others already running off, he was going to run with them... but then part of him wondered if the figure was going to pursue them. So he quickly hurried to the door, trying to push it up and get it back in place while he slipped back outside as well. It could prove to be a distraction long enough for the girls to get out of there. |

"Come on, let's go!" She held onto Cosmo as they headed back up through the tunnel, and once they were able to get to the surface, she panted, "well, then... Now we have a much more open area to fight, if we must." "Right..." She frowned, handing the emerald back to Blaze, "I think you'll need this more than I will, I don't think it's reacting to that capsule anymore." "Right... But if that was a capsule, then what was inside...?" |

Still trying to work the door, Knuckles happened to look towards the capsule... and he saw those eyes. "...geez...!" He tried to push past the door more now, holding onto his hat as he saw those eyes. This looked like big trouble... |
