 "Wait, wasn't he...? Oh, crud. I'm gonna go make sure he's alright!" Lilac rushed over to the hole, and used a Dragon Boost to shoot down it quickly.  "LILAC! Ugh... Let's hope she can get him out of there..."
She hit the floor of the lower chamber quickly, breaking into a roll on impact, and saw Knuckles trying to block the room in. "Oh, hell..." Still, she rushed over to help him get the door into place, using all her strength, "let's not stay in here too long!" |

Lilac quickly spun around the moment she felt those eyes on her back, and she took on a defensive posture, glaring back into the eyes of whoever was staring at her and Knuckles, not with fear, but with confidence. Those eyes only reminded her of Brevon, eyes she hated, not feared, whether this creature deserved the same was yet to be answered. "Who are you?" She asked firmly. |

She grit her teeth as she raised her hands to protect her face, hitting the hard surface, but the black creature would notice that a small portion of his attack was deflected. This girl could suppress chaos energy, but she lacked the skill to utilize it. She suddenly spun, launching herself to slam into her opponent with shocking speed using a Dragon Boost attack. "If that's how you want to do it, fine! I'll beat the answer out of you!" |

"Hmph." So someone likes to be cheap. huh? Well he's cheaper. The moment she was an inch before his hand, she somehow froze in time. The hedgehog-shaped being kicked her, spinning her back around...aiming right for Knuckles...before he ported off. At this time, Lilac will return to normal, but attacking Knuckles, instead. |

And there he was, just getting on his feet. "Hey, whoever you are, I- GUUAAAAH!!!" And cue the sudden Dragon Boost slamming straight into Knuckles, and promptly rocketing out of the building itself; launched at quite a ferocious speed. |

She tumbled to the ground, wondering how he was able to do THAT, and shook her head, as she realized her opponent was gone, "darn it... I gotta get back to Blaze and Cosmo!" One mad rush up the hole later, and... "Lilac, what happened? I heard-" "You heard a fight, alright! This black hedgehog just took me and Knuckles on easily!" she groaned, as she popped out of the hole. "I couldn't even touch him!" |

At this point, he just managed to fish himself out of the water, just seeing that visage with a groan. "...not... so... fast...!" With a pained grunt, he tried pushing himself up on his feet, reeling his fist lightly back. |

My parents once told me Chaos could be used to manipulate time and space, but I've never felt that power until now." "Huh?!" But then she snarled, gripping the emerald tighter, "but still... You dare demand that I hand over my birthright and the subject of my protection?" She then motioned for Cosmo to go to Lilac as she stepped forward, "Lilac, stay away from me, and keep Cosmo safe. This fool may be powerful, but he is not the only one capable of manipulating one of the three great powers..." The emerald glowed, as flames ignited around her in a protective barrier, "I am Princess Blaze of the Kingdom of Sol. This emerald is not yours, for I have been tasked with its protection from those who would misuse it. If you want it, you will have to defeat me for it." |

With a huff, he was approaching the scene of battle with a grunt, adjusting his hat as he was looking at the black hedgehog. "...that's right, keep talkin', I'm gonna..." he murmured as he got ready for a fight. |
